Installing Console

From the Customer Portal, the Evolve IMSWorkX Console is available as a software download for either a Windows ® or a Linux ® operating system. The downloaded file will include everything required to install the Console.

System Requirements

  • Windows 10 or Linux operating system

  • JAVA SE RUNTIME ENVIRONMENT (JRE) version 8 or higher

  • 2 MB of free disk space

Install the Console

Perform the following steps to install the Console on computers running a supported operating system.

  1. Close all applications.

  2. Access the Customer Portal.

  3. Log in with your User Name and Password.

Note

You must have a Customer Portal account to download software. For account information, contact support@imsworkx.com.

  1. Click Software Downloads on the portal’s main menu.

  2. Locate the applicable Console package in the software list.

  3. Click the link to download the file.

Note

If downloading the file for a Linux operating system, you will need to run the tar -xvf redcom-imsworkx-console-linux-x.x.x.tar command to extract the installer file from the compressed TAR file (where x.x.x is the version of Console that you are installing).

  1. Click the installer file to launch the installation. The set up window appears.

  1. Select the checkbox to accept the License Agreement, and click Install to begin the installation.

Tip

At any time, you can click Cancel to exit and stop the installation. A status bar appears to show the progress of the installation.

  1. When the installation is complete, click Finish.

The Evolve IMSWorkX Console shortcut appears on your computer desktop.
